Of medium energy, this stunning boy is very alert and confident -- and he loves getting attention from humans. Ajax is as sweet as they come, offering you his affection and wagging his tail while he receives it back. He is happiest when his people are around and might get a bit anxious or even bored if left alone too long. Ajax is looking for someone to be his best friend, so he can be 100% committed to them. On leash he walks proudly with his head held high, responding quickly to any corrections given to him. After a long walk or hike, he will be happy to just lie in his bed and relax. Ajax has fairly calm energy, not requiring you to be active all the time; he is happy just with your company. This guy falls in love with his handler completely and has even been known to feel the need to protect them. Ajax will do better in a one-person-only home, and he would need to have a separate room in the house when people come to visit. In doggie playgroups he comes in confident and dominant; he is known to do best with submissive females. He definitely does not like high-energy dogs since he is more on the low-energy side.
