Kelty von Marbach is a 4-year-old Shetland Sheepdog mixed with sugar, spice and everything nice.  This house and crate-trained cutie cavorts at the beach and dog parks, scenting new smells and occasionally inviting another dog to play.  A graduate of basic obedience classes, she is quick to respond to such commands as sit, stay, come, leave it, down, shake and wait.  Our classy 30-pound bundle is reserved in new situations while she quietly sizes up a different person or place.  Kelty prefers the quiet of her home to the ruckus of a loud environment; she is quite content to hang out with you as you go about your tasks.  She savors an occasional belly rub or pat on the head versus being consistently fawned over.  Well behaved at home alone, our girl has good manners, even towards the family cat.  She absolutely loves car rides (and doesn’t take up much room) and, interestingly, delights in standing outside when it rains (not that you should let her), perhaps waiting for a rainbow?  Lovely Kelty will do best in a home with adults (older children okay) and a lovely yard where she can soak up the rays.
