Dixie von Danube is a stunning 14 month old German Shepherd. Dixie is a super sweet, good-sized, classic black and tan female.  Everyone who goes up to her kennel is her best friend and gets major wags and gentle kisses.  She does well in her doggy play dates and has gotten along with all the dogs, but, she prefers the company of people.  (We sense that she thinks she is human. :-))  She has such soulful eyes, loves to cuddle and look deep into your own eyes, then kiss you on the cheek.  She walks so easy on the leash.  Dixie goes to the bathroom fairly quickly on her walks, which usually indicates being housebroken.  A high fence, or even a condo lifestyle, should be helpful for her wanderlust to be with people.
