Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Xena is an adorable 10-month-old German Shepherd/ Belgian Shepherd mix. She will be on the petite side. We guess that she won't be over 55 pounds when fully grown. She is more the size of a Belgian Shepherd. She is also very quick and athletic like a Belgian Shepherd. She is very loving and out going. She likes other dogs and would love a buddy to play with. Xena is good in the house and is housebroken. She doesn't chew on anything but her chew toys. Xena is such a gentle soul, she is such a pleasure to have around. She has charmed her foster dad who is so tired of foster dogs. She curls up next to him on the leather couch and gently
rests her head on his lap. When she gets a chance she quickly slips in bed and puts her head next to his on the pillow. Xena loves children and would be a very reliable playmate for children. Xena enjoys relaxing in the garden by the pool usually resting on one of the newly covered lounge chairs, looking like a princess. Xena is a very easy dog to incorporate into any home. She also seems uninterested in cats. Xena is also off leash trained and comes immediately when called. On a recent trip to her foster grandmother's house we learned how quickly she was reliable off leash, under supervision. Of course, we love all dogs, but Xena is truly a very special dog.
