Smokey Rose is a lovely and sweet 6 year old German Shepherd. She responds to "Rosie". She walks well on a leash, she is completely housebroken and will even relieve herself when told to "Do your business". Rosie is being fostered by a family who helps train guide dog puppies for the blind. Rosie knows some commands and also responds to "Off". Rosie likes to sneak up on one couch in the living room because she can see better and likes to look out the window. She will immediately get off when told. Otherwise she is great in the house and can be left for hours without the family having to worry about her. Rosie is very affectionate with everyone in the family including the children. Rosie gets along with dogs who she meets casually on a walk or in the park. In her own home, the dog has to be the right match. She would do better with a dog who is very confident. Rosie is a wonderful dog and will make someone a wonderful companion.
