Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Rocky is a well-built, long-haired German Shepherd. He is 12 months old, 80 pounds and is medium in height for a shepherd, but has a stocky build. He has an incredible full coat that has been well taken care of. Rocky has been someone's pampered baby, but he doesn't understand what happened to his home. The man who took him to the shelter had been taking care of Rocky for his son, but thought he played too rough with his small dog. When poor Rocky was dumped at the shelter, he was so scared, his whole body was shaking. Rocky thinks he is a big lap dog and wants to sit on your lap and have you hold him. He is very responsive on the leash and won't pull if you remind him. He has had some obedience work and likes to give you his paw. He is good with other dogs and met a cat for the first time. He was just curious, but not overly interested. Rocky is just a big adorable doll baby!
