Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Whitey is a big, gentle, baby. He was found at an Animal Shelter lying in the corner of his kennel with his head down, trying to make himself disappear. Which, for a German Shepherd weighting 108 pounds, was impossible. He has such a kind spirit in spite of being a stray, wandering alone without someone to love him was just too much for this sweet boy. He waited and waited patiently trusting someone would save him so when no family came looking for him Westside stepped in to find this great dog a new forever home. He is now in a foster home and is a perfect house guest. He is calm in the house - quietly lying in his spot and watching you. He has never had an accident in the house and gets along well with the other dogs he has met. Even though his is such a large dog he is as gentle as you could hope, never pulling on the leash, never jumping up on you or pushing his way past you. He will amaze you when you get to know him.
