Varick von Lancaster is a stunning 4 month old quality bred German Shepherd. He was found in an area with many breeders. Judging from the size of his leg bones and paws, he will be on the bigger side. Varick is almost completely housebroken, if you take him out often to potty. He isn’t a destructive puppy and is happy with a chew bone. He is very smart and quick to learn. He likes to climb up on the couch and watch T.V. in the evening. If he had his choice he would like to sleep in bed with you, just as long as you don’t mind having your toes nibbled. He does well with alpha dogs and respects them. He is in a foster home with a cat who is very unimpressed with him and won’t run. Varick would love to have a good cat chase. He knows ‘sit’ and is working on his other commands. He is very social and loves to have his family around. He would do best with someone who is home a lot. As much as he is good with other dogs, he is mostly people oriented. He loves his family. Even though he is still so young, he will bark at the gate and let people passing know he is watching out for his family. He needs a family with some large dog experience. We are asking a donation of $500 for Varick. He is so gorgeous and well bred, his donation goes towards his care and that of other rescue dogs.
