Timber is a very sweet 10 month old sable German Shepherd.Timber is a loving girl who just wants to please her human. She loves playing with her canine foster sisters and she is super ball player. Timber has learned to sit on command, also come, wait or stay, roll over, lie down, go in your place, and a few more we are working on. After dinner Timber's foster mom works on "tricks for treats". All three of the dogs in the family work on perfecting their tricks. Timber can give a 'high five" , she can crawl on command and does a variety of other tricks. She is very polite on walks, which she loves. Timber needs someone who loves animals and she will be happier with another dog in the house. She needs someone who knows a little bit about dog behavior or is willing to learn. Timber was abused physically; and her trust in humans needs to be rebuilt. She is very timid, but not aggressive - she is submissive. She can be trained to love all people again by taking her out around people. Get her used to people by giving her treats and love when you see someone walk by. Lots of praise when she sees someone and doesn''t bark. Have people come over and just sit down with treats in their hand open, or put on their lap and wait for her to approach all the time ignoring her. If you have a big family bring people over and slowly have them give her treats. It has to done on her terms. The foster mom can explain more about her training to whomever is interested ... someone will be extremely lucky to get her.
