Spirit von Tribeca and Hope von Tribeca (Adopted) are 2 absolutely gorgeous 4 1/2 mos old German Shepherd puppies. We don't know how such sweet pups ended up in the worst shelter out there, but we grabbed them as soon as we could knowing the fate that awaits them at that horrible place. They haven't had a lot of contact with people in their short lives and are timid at this point, but are improving every day. Spirit is the sable girl, and she has the more outgoing and brave personality of the two. Hope is more timid at this point and needs a little longer to warm up to people but it's just a matter of time before she is a jump in your lap kind of pup.They are in a foster home with several other dogs and they LOVE having all the canine company to hang out and play with. Their foster mom tells us how much she enjoys sitting in the back yard and watch the pups play with all the others. It's so wonderful to watch them come out of their shell. They are very attached to each other, but we think it's best for them to be adopted separately into homes where there's another dog they can be with. Otherwise, they're just your typical puppies, curious and investigative. We want to place them in homes where people have some experience with puppies and understand what it takes to raise them. Hope and Spirit will need families with a lot of patience who will work with them to improve their social skills and help them become the confident Shepherds they meant to be. They will have an extremely strong bond to whoever spends the time and gives them the direction and love they need.
