Sparkle von Moreno is a medium sized, 12 mos old black and tan German Shepherd. Her name says it all: she is very affectionate, outgoing and friendly with people. She bonds VERY quickly with her human friends, and loves nothing more than be hugged, petted, scratched and played with. She rides great in the car, but is a little over enthusiastic on the leash. One of the volunteers calls her 'fearless', and that she is. She is an alpha female who prefers human companions or a more submissive male dog buddy. Sparkle is still a puppy and has the energy and curiosity to prove it. She will do great with an owner who will take the time to train her. She will be a devoted and loyal friend to a great family.
