Smokey

Adopted

Smokey is an adorable 6 to 7 month old German Shepherd puppy boy. Smokey was one of many unfortunate animals to have been displaced by the recent California wild fires. He along, with 1,000 other animals waited at a makeshift shelter for his family to find him. Unfortunately, they did not find this sweet boy and one of the local shelters called to see if the rescue had room for one more. After hearing his story we couldn’t say no, and one of the volunteers drove all the way out there to get this special boy.

Smokey is a gentle sweet boy with lots of puppy energy who would like nothing better than to play all day. He likes to gather up all his toys and put them on his bed. If you’re not careful he will collect some of your stuff and put it on his bed as well. His foster mom has found towels, socks, shoes and other thing that are within his reach. Smokey can sit on command, walks well on a leash, is crate trained and is learning house manners. He likes other dogs, children and everyone he meets. We think that Smokey will be a good-sized boy based on the size of his feet and his big ears.

We are asking a $350.00 donation to help with the board and care of other homeless German Shepherds. Smokey is in a foster home.
