Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Shelby von Sonntag is a charming 7 mos old German Shepherd/Collie mix. He is an absolutely delightful, silly boy, just happy, playful and your typical young puppy.
He was left at the shelter by his owners because they didn't have room for him. We hear the weakest excuses dogs are dumped in shelters for, like objects instead of the loyal wonderful friends they could and will be to some lucky people. Shelby will be a good sized boy, he still has quite a bit of growing to do. He is already housebroken, he loves other dogs, people and just about anything and anyone. He didn't pay attention to the cats in the cat room so there's a great chance he would be fine with them in the same house. Although Shelby has no aggression, we feel he would do best in a home with older children, because as all puppies, he loves to use his mouth and tends to be mouthy in his enthusiasm and might also knock small kids down with his happily wagging body. He knows some basic commands, and would love to go to more obedience training with his new owner who will continue his training so he can be a model dog citizen.
