Samson von Zurich is a striking 5 year old well bred German Shepherd. Samson turned 5 on Christmas Day. Samson is a large boned shepherd with great conformation. He is a show quality dog and just takes your breath away. He has a short neat coat and the gait of a show dog. It is a sight to see him prance. He is good in the car when he settles down after a few minutes. He knows sit and stay, especially when there's a treat in sight ... yes; we love that selective memory so many of our dogs exhibit... Samson is walked with other dogs and seems to do well. He is a favorite with the volunteers and everyone loves him. His owner lost his home and was forced to give him up. Samson is friendly and good with people he meets but he is also a dog who senses when his owner needs protecting. He is a special dog, who will make you feel loved and safe.
