Jubilee
was only eight months old and was already abandoned and on her own.
She lived under wrecked cars in a junk yard. She was skin and bones,
her skin was raw and she was covered with oil. Jubilee was immediately
treated by our vet. She was responding to medication for her skin
and went off to a foster home. She just blossomed, her foster mom
called her Jubilee because she was so happy to have a loving home.
Recently, we got a frantic call from the foster mom, Jubilee was again
starting to have problems with her skin. She rushed Jubilee back to
the vet. Jubilee's immune system has just crashed, she wasn't able
to fight off the different infections that were dormant for a while,
but came back with a vengeance. Her skin was like raw hamburger, her
feet were so swollen that she couldn't walk. Sabrina had a temperature
of 105 degrees. She has been getting daily injections. She is being
given a special diet to help build her immune system back up. Jubilee
is getting medicated baths and special sprays to help sooth her skin.
The vet feels Jubilee has a long battle ahead of her. We are hoping
you can help us do everything possible to save Sabrina.
