Rubie is an adorable 11 month old German Shepherd.  She was abandoned at a shelter when her owners moved. The only part of her that is not traditional GS are her ears.  Oh...but what ears they are!  We think that's one of the reasons she is so charming.  Her foster Mom reports that whether you are making coffee or flossing your teeth, Rubie looks up at you with those beautiful brown eyes and adorable ears and makes you feel like you are the most important person on earth.  (And to her you are!)  She is a typical puppy - curious and full or energy.  But also very smart and a quick learner.  She is completely housebroken and knows "sit".  Her idea of a perfect morning is exercise, breakfast, then cuddling up with you for a nap.  She is good with other dogs and would love a home with another dog to play with.  She is great in the car.  Sometimes she gets nervous when she meets new people and it takes a little time for her to warm up to them... but once you know Rubie, and appreciate her warm, sweet spirit, you will have a loyal friend for life.  With some basic training, and guidance that all puppies need, Rubie will be an amazing addition to a loving home.  She is VERY ready to share her unconditional love with a wonderful "forever" family.
