Penny von Steiner is a 12 month old long haired German Shepherd. She is a beautiful dog inside and out. Penny has a very good temperament and does very well in all kinds of situations. She is secure and out going. Penny is loving and responsive. Penny is very good with other dogs and would love to have a playmate. Even when she is on a walk on a leash, she tries to invite other dogs to play. She enjoys activity but can also settle down. Penny has a longer silky coat, but typically of the long haired shepherds, they shed less. She would love nothing better than to have a family again. She could be an only dog, but then you might have to take her to a dog park to visit with some canine buddies. All the volunteers love Penny. She gets to go hang out in the park with volunteers more than anyone, just because she is such a good girl.
