Paloma von Palzem

Paloma von Palzem is a stunning 5 year old long haired German Shepherd. Now this is a dog who lives up to her name: “Paloma” comes from the Latin word for “dove,” a symbol of peace. Paloma is incredibly sweet-natured. A smaller-sized gal (weighing a bit over 40lbs) with medium energy, she adores people and similarly-sized or larger dogs (but no cats or smaller animals, please). She loves being petted and, with her beautiful coat, people are happy to oblige. Not only that, but her wonderful leash manners make her a pleasure to take on a stroll — another hobby of hers! Paloma is bright and eager to learn. She is delighted to show off her skills at sit, down, stay, shake and leave it. It’s easy to see how joyful this girl is; who could miss that long, fluffy tail wagging back and forth all the time? She has done very well in her playgroups at the rescue and is even sharing space with several dogs. This dove is still working on flying smoothly through all social situations. She can be protective of the people she cares for but, with the right guidance, Paloma is going to fit right into your flock.
