Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

This sweetheart of a dog is Ozie, a 12 month old German Shepherd. He is on the smaller side, but with a big heart. He is another 'victim' of the 'shelter from hell' we call it. He is a bit scared at the moment, and all he wanted to do while having his picture taken is crawl in our volunteer's lap and bury his head under her arm for security. We don't even want to know what might have happened to him, but we can tell he will be just an awesome and loyal companion to anyone who will show him love and affection. After the pictures were taken, Ozie got his wish and spent 45 minutes snoozing in the lap of the volunteer in the park. He was relaxed and happily snored away. He is so wonderful on the leash, just sticks by your side and walks at your pace. Ozie ignored all dogs and cats we came across. His focus was totally on the volunteer. He needs a home where people will spend lots of time with him and will see what a loving and great pet he will be.
