Oskar von Heidelberg is a classic looking 4 year old German Shepherd. He is a magnificent dog; everyone admired him when he walked into a vet hospital for a check up. People couldn’t imagine he was lost and no one came for him. He is wonderful with dogs of all sizes and is great with cats as well. He won't bother cats in the home and won't chase them when they run either. Oskar loves children and takes treats very gently from their hands. He's been around kids of all ages and has been perfectly behaved. With such great attitude and love for his people, Oskar is also the typical German Shepherd, very protective of his owners, so he will need to go to a home with a family who has experience with large protective dogs, especially German Shepherds.
