Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Max von Buttonstein is a large 18 mos old classic looking German Shepherd. The volunteers call him “pretty boy” but he isn’t sure he likes that. He is tall, and well built as he matures he will continue to fill out. He is very friendly and was one of the easiest dogs to photograph. He just stood there like a model, when all he really wanted to do was roll on his back for some tummy scratches. (which he got afterwards as a reward for being such a good boy) He is playful and friendly, good with other dogs and couldn't care less about the cats hissing and staring at him in the cat room. He needs a little reminder on how to walk well on the leash, but all he would need is a few corrections and regular exercise, and he'll be just perfect. We think he would do well with an active life style, he needs someone who will take him on walks, hikes, parks etc. He is also a good passenger in the car and seems to enjoy the ride. We feel that Max doesn’t have the patience for children, so we think an adult family would be best. Fill out and application below and come meet our hunky boy!
