Kurtis von Lancaster is a handsome 2 year old good sized classic German Shepherd.  Kurtis is close to 100 pounds and is one of those dogs everyone has to stop and take notice. He is a strong dog and requires someone with experience. Kurtis is good with other dogs and is well behaved when he meets other dogs on a walk. Kurtis takes Cyclosporine for a condition he has which is very manageable once he takes his medication. He has a condition many German shepherds get and with the right diet and medication they do well. It is perianal fistulas. If the cost is a problem the rescue will provide the medication. Kurtis is so ready to enjoy himself in a home, but because he has to take medication, he has waited month after month in a kennel. We are hoping for Kurtis’ sake that there is a special family who will open their hearts and home to him. He in turn will be the most appreciative and devoted companion.
