Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Kimbo is a very large, 16 mos old absolutely beautiful German Shepherd. He is the brother of our other big boy, Callio. They were turned in together by their owner because of a divorce. Kimbo didn't understand why he was all of a sudden locked into a small run with dogs barking all around. He was scared and crouched in the corner of his run when our volunteer got in there to put the leash on him. Our volunteer says: "It was so wonderful and amazing to see this gorgeous big boy going from 'crouching in the corner of the cage' to happily walking and bouncing down the street with me. All within a few minutes". Kimbo has a wonderful temperament. He is great with all dogs, no matter what size, loves people and we believe he would be great with kids as well. He rides great in the car, walks well on leash, and is a lover boy, giving kisses at every opportunity he gets. The brothers can be adopted together or separate. They will make amazing companions to some very lucky people. We are asking for an adoption fee of $500 for each brother to help us cover their costs and help Blaise, Stan and Andy with their medical bills.
