Johnny Boy needs your help, we need your help. Our hearts go out to the dogs whom people have hurt and neglected, to dogs like Johnny Boy who still have so much to offer despite what was done to them. Johnny boy wasn’t fed, he wasn’t taken to the vet when he needed to go. Johnny Boy is just bones, when he lies down it is bone folding on bone. All his owners did for him was slip his collar off and then take him to a part of town with few people and dump him out off the car. We are only guessing this is what happened, (it happens over and over), but after only a few minutes with Johnny, he wouldn’t let you out of his sight, we know he wouldn’t have left his family, even a horrible family. Bewildered and hungry he didn’t know where to go or who to trust. Once in a shelter there is almost never anyone to take on a dog like Johnny, especially with the high cost of veterinary care. If Johnny was lucky someone stopped by his kennel to say how pathetic and then they moved on. We, however see a magnificent dog, regal and strong, with a well filled out body and a beautiful thick coat, we have seen the transformation over and over. We can see him running down the beach looking as if he didn’t ever have a care in the world. We look at his eyes and we know we have to help him. But we need your support to continue to make this happen, we need your help so we can still make these dreams come true. We normally spend $500 a day just on boarding the dogs we have looking for homes, let only medical care, emergency surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, spay and neutering, vaccines an I.V. for the ones with pneumonia and injections and medicated baths for the ones with skin problems. You all know the high cost of veterinary care, please help us save and care for all these wonderful dogs who have already suffered. Help us make up to them for what was done.
