Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Iona von Ilanz is an enchanting 8 month old long haired German Shepherd. Iona is a dream dog; no one could even imagine a dog more wonderful than Iona. She is calm and has such a peaceful aura about her. She is in a foster
home with 9 other dogs. She found her place in the pack with no problems at all. She has even befriended one of the more difficult dogs and they love playing low keyed games putting their paws over each other. She walks well
on the leash and knows how to sit when you show her a biscuit. We got a call from a very excited volunteer from another country who wanted to get Iona out of the shelter before she ended up in a home that was less than perfect
for such a special dog. We don't know how she ended up in a shelter; she has had good care and is well groomed. She will be another mystery for us, but such a gift.
