Gustav is a very handsome three-year-old German Shepherd. He has the build and body style of German Shepherds from import lines. Gus looks like a big tough guy, but he is gentle and sweet. He rides well in the car and is just perfectly behaved. We noticed when we had him in the waiting room of a crowed vet office that people with little fluffy dogs were smiling at us. Gustav was so well behaved that they weren't even afraid for their little ones. He walks well on the leash and stays right by your side.
Gus is a prize, everyone falls in love with him the minute they meet him. Only because a volunteer, who keeps track of the German Shepherds in the shelter, told me I had to go get Gus. His time was up. He was picked up by animal control with a collar and license, the owners were contacted, but no one came for this spectacular dog!
Fortunately, Gustav got adopted before he even went into boarding at our vets. What a lucky boy to get such a wonderful new family!Thank you to the Halamicek family!
