Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Ginger von La Brea is an extra large, classic looking 6 year old German Shepherd. Ginger is a well bred dog from German import lines. When she arrived at the shelter she weighed 104, she has slimmed down a little but, she has a very large frame. She is mild mannered and calm. Her family left her at the shelter because they didn’t have time for her. Ginger doesn’t seem to require much to be happy. It has been hard for her to stop missing her family but she is starting to feel happy again and is looking forward to her new forever family .Ginger is good with other dogs and enjoys being with other dogs at the kennel where she is boarded. We would love Ginger to have a new family or even a foster family.
