Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Rufus von Seaaca is a large handsome German Shepherd mix with the coloring of a Belgian Malinois and a touch of Great Dane. Rufus is an easy going 12 month old over sized goofy puppy. He is so innocent and kind. Rufus was selected to be part of a program that relocates adoptable shelter dogs to different areas of the state. Rufus was temperament tested for the program. The shelter thought he would be a very good candidate since he scored so high on his temperament tests. To everyone’s disappointment Rufus was turned down because he was two inches too big. We are grateful to the staff for caring about Rufus and waiting until we could take him. When Rufus came into the vet hospital where we board our dogs everyone stopped to admire him. He is a very striking looking guy, he will be even more handsome as he matures and fills out. Rufus loves to give you his paw or press his big body against you. Anyone who meets Rufus is instantly in love.
