Dieter is as classic as they come. He looks like in just walked out of a book on the standards of German Shepherds. He is so beautiful, with an especially beautiful, but also kind face. Dieter was lost and his owners didn't find him. He was wearing an expensive leather collar with studs, but no one looked in a crowded animal shelter. If you told someone that you had just imported him from Germany and paid $4,000 people would not bat an eyelash. It would be totally believable. Dieter is a well socialized three-year-old boy, he should weigh about 85 to 90 pounds. He was very good with the vet when he had his check up. He met other dogs and was fine. Dieter gets very attached to anyone right now, because he so misses having a family. Dieter walks right by your side and is calm and well behaved. He sits on command. He knows how to leap in the back of an SUV into his crate. His coat is perfect and his ears well cared for as well as his coat. It just never ceases to amaze us how dogs like Dieter end up in the shelter and no on comes for them. Dieter is micro-chipped, neutered and has all his shots. We are asking a donation of $350 which will go back for his care and to help other homeless German shepherds
