Cherokee von Bakersfield is a very impressive looking long haired black and cream colored German Shepherd. He is just gorgeous! Cherokee is a large 3 year old boy with the sweetest temperament. The long haired German Shepherds are known for their gentle and mellow personalities. Cherokee is a classic example. He walks well on the leash and when told to sit for his pictures he was quick to comply. When we walked him through the cat room at the place where he is boarded, he got as far away from the cats as he could, behind a volunteer. He is very good with other dogs and doesn’t even seem to mind the little ones who bark at him. Cherokee was lost and the typical story no one came for him. He has had good care, most often the long haired ones need lots of grooming, Cherokee’s coat was in very good shape. Cherokee is just a doll some family will be so lucky.
