Chappy

Tall, dark and handsome.... and so well behaved! Two year old Chappy is a German Shepherd dog lover's dream dog. He's size XXL and should probably be about 100 pounds when he gains some needed weight. He walks like a gentleman on leash and greets everyone happily - both human and canine - with his gentle nature and calm demeanor. He spent his first day at our boarding kennel just "hanging out" with the volunteers, and everyone who came by couldn't help but stop to admire and pet him and stare into his soulful eyes. He sat through fire engines racing by on a busy street, bicyclists zooming down the sidewalk right past him, greetings by adults and children, and even groups of dogs on their way out to play, and through it all he sat calmly and quietly, so happy and content to be rescued from the shelter. This gorgeous boy is so perfect, he'll fit into any situation. We're asking for a donation of $500 to go towards his care and to help pay for the medical expenses of some of our less fortunate dogs.
