Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Cassie is an 18 month old black and tan long hair German Shepherd. She is a very sweet and gentle sole who is a bit shy, but once you feed her treats she warms right up. Cassie has a beautiful soft shinny coat and appears to have been well taken care of. How she ended up in the shelter is a mystery. Cassie gets along well with her canine foster brother and sister. But she really loves to be with people and follows her foster mom around everywhere. Cassie rides well in a car, is very easy to walk and seems to be house broken. She knows basic commands and is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved. She likes to play or is happy just to hang out. Cassie was very good with all the dogs and people she met when she had her glamour shot taken. We don’t know how she is with cats, but she has such a mild temperament she would probably be ok if introduced properly. All the volunteers fell in love with Cassie because she is so sweet and gentle. We think she would do best in a home where some is home most of the time. If you are looking for a dog who will love you no matter what, Cassie is your girl.
