Casey von Best Friends

Casey was the last one left who needed a home at the Best Friends adoption event. It was wildly successful, only one of the shelter dogs who was taken to the show was going back to the shelter. Phone call after phone call from volunteers who had spent the day with lovely Casey and were trying to save him, just couldn't imagine him going back to be euthanized - which is what happens after an adoption event. The animal lovers cried on the phone, "Please help Casey!" One of our volunteers waited an hour and a half to do the paperwork, over 500 hundred dogs got adopted. Best Friends paid the fees for sweet Casey to be neutered, micro-chipped and to have his shots. One volunteer who is an experienced trainer, had Casey sitting, putting him in a stay position and healing on the leash. He said Casey is a quick learner and pretty much obedience trained in 90 minutes. So we also know that in addition to being very sweet, Casey is very smart! He is now with us in boarding, he has on a pretty red collar from a admirer, Casey is feeling pretty happy and knows his luck is going to change very soon. Casey is five years old, he is an easy going dog who seems to be good with animals of all sizes. We would love to find Casey a home but even a temporary foster home would be wonderful.

Casey got adopted thanks to Warren
for featuring him on his show.
