Brahms
Adopted

Brahms is a extra large gorgeous German Shepherd. We love the gentle giants like Brahms. Our guess is that he weighs well over a 100lbs., but he could stand to lose just a little. When a cat hissed at him in the vet office, he hid behind the volunteers leg. He has some training; he sits and loves to shake hands. A volunteer who picked up the 5-year-old charmer at the shelter, wrote that Brahms had a wonderful time riding around with on errands all day! They stopped several times, got out, walked around yards and parks, where he socialized with friends and strangers, kids and other dogs and even a cat, and he behaved just fine.
The volunteer felt like he was betraying him by dropping him off at Valley, but when they looked in each others' eyes one last time, he knew Brahms understood that this was just the beginning of a much better life for him and that he would meet more people have more fun experiences.
We don't know how Brahms was separated from his family and why no one came looking for him, but we do know that some family will be lucky to have him join their family.
