Beowulf
Adopted
Beowulf
is a big, beautiful two year old long haired German Shepherd. He is
a good-sized boy at 76 pounds, he needs at least another 10 pounds.
He is a pure bred long haired dog from German lines. He has the bigger
bones and straighter, stockier build of the imports. Beowulf was found
huddled up in the back of a crowded shelter. Beowulf was miserable which
is typical of the dogs who have had a good home. The staff expected
someone to come for Beowulf, but no one came. Beowulf has a perfect,
thick resplendent coat. He looked as if she had just been groomed. He
is a very sweet dog, good with other dogs and just inquisitive with
cats. We think he had never seen one before. He is crate trained and
knew right off that he was to jump in the crate in the back of the station
wagon for the ride to our vet. Our beautiful boy is now in another boarding
situation but at least this time he knows he is safe. We are asking
a donation of $350 for Beowulf to go back to help Jubilee. |
