Ben is a lovable 11 month old “personality” kid. He is a German Shepherd with a touch of Labrador and has the best of both breeds. He is intelligent and focused, playful and truly a happy, friendly dog. He loves people and other dogs. Ben is in a foster home and gets along extremely well with his German Shepherd foster sister, Tuki. When Ben first arrived at his foster home he was so happy and exhuberant that he could not contain himself and made a pest of himself, but with a few reminders from his foster sister, Tuki, he is now calmer and respectful. Tuki also taught him to use a doggie door and now he’s a master at it. Ben also loves his crate and automatically goes in there to relax or sleep. “Just leave my door open for me, but it’s okay if you want to close it at night.” Ben loves to ride in the car and does so very well. Absolutely no problem there. Ben is very outgoing and most of all, lovable. His foster mother has told me “I've had dogs all my life and Ben is one of the most lovable dogs I’ve ever encountered. He just lives to love and be loved, play or be quiet with his owner. He’s a great companion."

Ben had orthopedic surgery to repair an injury to his front leg. He is doing very well and doesn’t let anything curb his enthusiasm for life. “My ears may not stand up but my loyalty and my love and gratitude to you for giving me a chance sure will. Please come meet me. I’m really so easy to be with.”
