Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Alfie von Amberg is a 2 year old large red/gold Shepherd. Many people look for this type of beautiful unique colored German Shepherd. Our volunteer who transported him from the shelter reports she would LOVE to have that color for her own hair. (...don't laugh ..) He was found by the 118 freeway by one of our volunteers (lucky dog) who took him home and fostered him for a few days. She has several dogs herself, and Alfie proved to be a perfect house guest. He got along with all her dogs, male and female, was well behaved in the back yard, no digging or chewing and seems to be housebroken. Alfie is absolutely beautiful and is an affectionate, very friendly and sweet boy. He is playful and silly and would love to be in a home with another dog for a buddy to play with. He travelled from the shelter with 2 other males, Rudy and Kelsey, and there was no barking, no fighting, just silence in the van. Needless to say, he is great in the car. He also walks well on leash and showed no interest in the cats in the cat room. Come and meet this handsome boy, you might find your new best friend.
