Rosie is a beautiful 12 month old German Shepherd.
Rosie is zippy, happy and a very darling doggie. She is completely house trained, loves male dogs (she hasn't been with any female dog companions, so I don't know how she'd do with those), and never barks unless it's really, really important. She takes her cue from me on how to respond to people. She will bark very seriously is someone knocks on the door, but if I invite them in, and introduce them to her, she is kissing them on the cheek within about two minutes.

On the down side: she chases small furry animals, so cats are out; she hogs the bed; and she pulls on a leash so I've been using a Gentle Leader to walk her.

Rosie hoards toys, and sneaks into her foster brother's area to snag his chew toys. When she is very excited, like when I'm making food for her or, this is too funny, when she has to go outside RIGHT NOW MOM I'M NOT KIDDING, she grabs one of her squeaky toys and runs around squeaking it like a nut.

She is certainly ready for her new family, and is praying that they have a yard with squirrels.
