Ty von Tannenfeld is a very impressive 8 year old German Shepherd. We have so many people asking for German Shepherds who are 100 pounds plus, Ty!   He knows some of his commands and is learning to walk by other dogs on a leash and be a gentleman. He doesn’t show any interest in cats, so we think he could share his home happily with cats. His owner died and after being with someone for so many years, he ended up at the annex of an over crowded shelter where he just waited alone for his date to be euthanized. People usually coming to a shelter are looking for young and the staff didn’t even bother giving Ty a chance by putting him where the public would see him. Ty, despite all, has a jolly temperament, now that he knows he is safe. He likes to sit with his body pressed up against you, if you step away without warning him he falls over. He is so trusting you will be there for him. When he is pressed against you he looks up with complete adoration, he seems like he is actually grinning ear to ear. Ty would make such a devoted pet, even though he is so sweet, anyone who is afraid to be alone, Ty looks very imposing, you could sleep tight knowing you have this big sweetie right next to you. We know you would have sweet dreams! Ty should be the only dog in his new home as he can be very picky with the dogs he likes.
