Rembrandt is a magnificent long haired German Shepherd. He is nearly 100 pounds and is really an eye-catcher. His gait and appearance are striking. Rembrandt is a big teddy bear with a heart to match. Rembrandt recently
flew to Florida to a new home. It was discovered that our charming guy is incredible, but would do better as an only dog. His dad for a few days wrote
about Rembrandt; " He has the manners of a saint; quiet, attentive and loving all the attention. In the short
time I spent with Rembrandt I could see the bond forming and the playfulness revealed; Rolling on his back, joining me on the couch and bed, a pure joy to be with. Definitely a lover of biscuits! Rembrandt is a 5 year old, Long Haired German Shepherd; housebroken, excellent on leash-walking right beside you; a joy to take on car trips and friendly to all adults and children. At the airport, he was the center of attention due to his striking good looks. Everyone was coming over to pet him. Even a couple of babies got in on the act! Despite his large frame he
is quite gentle and careful to not knock children over. Rembrandt deserves a loving home as an only dog. A more loyal friend cannot be found. One kiss from this big guy and you're hooked. Open your home and heart to

Also we heard from the foster dad how much Rembrandt enjoyed swimming in his pool. Rembrandt can go to the dog park and play with other dogs, but we think it best he be an only dog or with a larger female. We would only place him with another dog locally so he could meet the dog first. He has spent enough time on an airplane.
