Melvin von Munich is big boned 6 month old German Shepherd. We were told that he was from championship lines which we can see. He is from working lines because of his solid, straighter back as opposed to the dogs with the sloped rear. The dogs with the straighter back have more endurance and we are told have less health problems. Melvin is built like a tank, this guy is solid. His legs are like posts. He is going to be a big boy. Melvin started life as a blue blood but life turned bad for him quickly; his owners left him outside, puppies hate to be away from their family. When Melvin barked to ask to come inside his owner taped his mouth shut. His muzzle and the side of his face have been treated at the vet hospital, because the skin was so irritated. Also Melvin has a few inches of tail missing who knows what happened to him. Despite all he is stunning, out going and ready to party. Melvin needs an active family who will make sure life is good for him. We are asking a donation of $500 for Melvin who is neutered, micro-chipped and has all of his shots and to help Hope who was also rescued from the South L.A. Shelter.
