Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Major is a beautiful purebred 5 1/2 month old German Shepherd. He is just a lovely puppy with a gentle, easy going temperament. We saw adorable Major about a month ago in a city shelter, Animal control had picked him up, he had been wandering around lost. He
was micro-chipped, so they held Major a month while trying to contact the owner. No one responded to the letters. He is definitely a purebred, high quality German Shepherd.How could no one come looking for him? One of our volunteers was headed to the shelter to be there early on the first day Major was available for adoption. Our volunteer had a flat tire and was late getting to the shelter.We almost lost out on Major, someone wanted to get Major for a guard dog. The staff at the shelter worked hard to dissuade the person. They knew we were on our way and that we would find him a wonderful home.
We are asking a donation of $500 for him which goes back
for his care and for the care of the other homeless dogs.
