Greta von Rottenburg is a show quality 3 year old black and red German Shepherd. We were shocked to see her in the shelter and we were even more shocked when we found out that she is trained in German. Usually, when a dog is just rescued it is hard to get their attention, not so with Greta. She is very focused and has clearly been professionally trained. Our volunteer tried the few commands she knows in German. When she said “platz” Greta hit the ground. She knows “sitzt”:, to sit, she knows “fuss” to heel. We aren’t sure what else she knows. It is possible that she is Schutzhund trained. Greta is good with other dogs and meets people well. Typical of show dogs, she is a medium sized girl. Greta naturally gets in the show stance too. She is a spectacular dog!
